When buying the Pistache tree, you will receive the Peter's Pistache tree (male) and the Kerman's Pistache tree (female, grafted). This combo provides both trees as pollinators so that you get to eat pistachios! The Peters Pistache tree is a seedling and mainly acts as the pollinator for the Kermans Pistache tree which is a grafted cultivar of pistache trees. The Kermans is a very prolific cultivar and is grown more than any other cultivar of pistache trees due to its success.
